6月25日　本校では茶道体験が行われました。3年生に混じって、ALTのVanessa先生も体験されました。茶道は生まれて初めてだったそうです。先生から感想をもらいました。

「正座は難しかったけれど、素敵な体験ができてよかったです。茶碗のふちを指でぬぐうということは、思いつかなかったことでカルチャーショックを受けました」

My first tea ceremony

　I joined the tea ceremony on June 25th. I learned three ways of bowing and how to mix and serve green tea. Doing the 正座 is a little difficult for me. I don’t have a tatami room at home so I don’t often do the 正座. I am happy that I experienced the delicacy of eating a sweet and drinking green tea.

　I had one small culture shock. I had to use two fingers to wipe the top of my bowl. This is very new to me. But I will cherish this wonderful experience of learning and growth.
