今日は、ALTのロッド先生が生徒ともに日本の伝統的茶道について学ぶ機会がありました。最初にロッド先生がモデルになってお茶をいただくことになりました。作法を理解するのは少し難しかったようですが、生徒たちはロッド先生が見本をしたのでよろこんでいました。次に、生徒同士でお茶を点てたり、運んだり、いただいたりしました。生徒たちはお茶を点てることやいただくことを楽しんでいたと思います。生徒にもロッド先生にも茶道を学べたことはすばらしい経験だったと思います。すばらしい時間をすごしました。

Hello Everyone!

　Today, the students and I had the chance to learn about the traditional tea ceremony. In the beginning, I was the model for the students and I was served the first serving of tea. It was a bit difficult to understand the rules, but I think the students liked my demonstration. Next, the students tried serving each other and I think they enjoyed making and receiving the tea. I think it was a great experience for the students and I to learn about the ceremony. We all had fun.
